High-value individual collared in Bacoor shabu buy-bust

CAVITE â€“ Authorities apprehended a high-value individual (HVI) in a drug buy-bust operation in Bacoor City on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the HVI as alias John, a resident of Barangay Talaba 1.

Alias John was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer.

More or less 25 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P170,000 were seized during the joint operation of Cavite PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cavite, and Bacoor Component City Police Station.

Alias John is facing criminal charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The confiscated pieces of evidence, meanwhile, were submitted to the Provincial Forensic Unit for chemical examination.
