Anguluan replaced Police Col. Julio Gorospe Jr. who headed the CPPO for almost two years.

The turnover ceremony was held on Thursday, September 5, at the CPPO headquarters in Camp Tirso H. Gador in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The event was presided over by Police Brig. Gen. Christopher C. Birung, Police Regional Office-2 chief.

Anguluan vowed to continue the programs of his predecessor and ensure the safety and security of the people of Cagayan.

He is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Kabalikat Class of 1998.

Birung urged the CPPO, an ISO-certified police unit in the Cagayan Valley region, to maintain high level of public security, peace and order, and conduct a massive anti-criminality campaign.
