Bulacan culinary heritage featured in BUFFEX 2024


The rich culture and heritage of Bulacan province were featured at the 2024 Bulacan Food Fair and Exposition (BUFFEX) which was held in the province from September 2-6.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the BUFFEX 2024 held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos as part of the activities in the Singkaban Festival celebration last Monday, Sept. 2, 2024. Booths that carried various delicacies from Bulacan like the pastillas from San Miguel, chicharon from Sta Maria, and the delicious empanada de kaliskis of Malolos City, were a big hit to visitors.

Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad said that some of the products featured at the expo were Catalina's Kitchen and the Taverna.

The Malikhaing Bulakenyo, composed of seamstresses who underwent training in sewing suits and various gowns with a Filipino theme, was also featured.
