Pasay LGU to hold 'Bakuna Eskwela'

The Pasay City government announced that “Bakuna Eskwela”  will be conducted in public schools in the city starting October.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano encouraged all the “Bakunanay and Papa Vaccine” in the city to let their children to receive vaccinations against diseases like human papillomavirs (HPV), diphtheria,tetanus and measles.

Rubiano said children in Grades 1 to 7 will be receiving free vaccination to protect them against the said diseases while the female children in Grade 4 will be given free vaccination against the HPV and cervical cancer.

She told all the parents to coordinate with the City Health Office through Pasay City trunkline at 888-PASAY (72729) local 1147 or 1148.

The mayor said the parents can also go to their nearest health center for additional information.
