The parking rates at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) were increased by the new management on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), led by San Miguel, has recently taken charge of managing the airport.

In a letter dated Sept. 30, New NAIA management announced that parking rates for cars would be set at ₱50 for the first two hours, ₱25 for each additional hour, and ₱1,200 for overnight parking.

Motorcycles would be charged ₱20 for the first two hours, ₱10 for each subsequent hour, and ₱480 for overnight parking.

Buses, on the other hand, would face a rate of ₱100 for the first two hours, ₱50 for every additional hour, and ₱2,400 for overnight parking.

The hike in the parking rates, according to NAIA, is “necessary to ensure continued maintenance and improvements to our facilities.”

“We appreciate your understanding and support as we implement these changes,” the management went on.
