Tattoo artist, delivery rider arrested for drugs, illegal firearm in Parañaque

A tattoo artist and a delivery rider in possession of P126,000 worth of kush were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Parañaque city police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (DSEU) on September 26.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as “Arjay," 24, a tattoo artist, and “Joven," 23, a delivery rider.

The two were arrested at around 8:40 p.m. in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

Aside from the recovered kush, the suspects also yielded a .9mm pistol with live ammunition.

Arjay and Joven were detained at the SDEU custodial facility while the confiscated Kush and firearm were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit.

Complaints for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165) and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (R.A. 10591) are being prepared against the suspects.
