Guo's convoy arrived at the Pasig jail at around 9:14 a.m. from the PNP's detention facility in Camp Crame where she stayed pending her transfer.

The PNP postponed her transfer last September 20 pending the necessary requirements for her medical assessment.

The facility, operated by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), contains 44 other inmates.

Cleared of TB

Guo was later transferred to the "general population" cell of the facility after her ‘Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (Mtb) test result came out negative.

Following her arrival at the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory, Bustinera stated that the dismissed mayor was subjected to a Gene-Xpert lab test to confirm her tuberculosis (TB) impression in the x-ray result.

Gene Xpert is a new test for tuberculosis that determines if a person is infected with TB. It also identifies if the TB bacterium of the person has resistance.

"At 3:43 p.m., we have received the negative test result for Mtb. PDL (person deprived of liberty) Alice Guo was transferred immediately to her assigned cell. She will be sharing the cell with 43 other PDLs," BJMP spokesperson Supt. Jayrex Bustinera said.

The dismissed mayor's transfer was ordered by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC)-Branch 167 that is handling her qualified human trafficking case.

Guo and her co-accused were charged in connection with the alleged criminal activities committed by Zun Yuan Technology Center, a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) that was raided in Bamban, Tarlac.
