CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – A tricycle driver was shot dead in Barangay 7 here on Saturday evening, September 21.
Police identified the victim as Ryan Cardano Ortiz, a resident here.
Investigation said the victim was driving his tricycle with license plate DO25926 on JP Rizal St. when a man suddenly appeared and shot him in the face.
Ortiz died on the spot and the suspect fled towards Crossing in this city.
Scene-of-the-Crime Operatives have processed the crime scene and the victim has been autopsied.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
