A delivery truck hit the service vehicle of Razalan, who was on his way to San Dionisio town, Iloilo to attend an official ceremony.

“It is fortunate he and his companions were not physically hurt,” said Police Major Rolando Araño, Iloilo Police Provincial Office chief spokesperson.

Araño said the delivery truck in the opposite lane suddenly made a U-turn and directly hit the front part of Razalan’s Toyota Innova.

He said that Razalan and companions were in good condition despite the extensive damage to the hood of the vehicle.

Araño said that Razalan was able to attend the closing ceremony for the training of tanods (watchmen) in Zarraga town later Friday.
