PRO-8 receives P23-M new equipment


TACLOBAN CITY - The Police Regional Office-8 has received brand new vehicles and ordnance worth P22.9 million.

A POLICE chaplain blesses brand-new equipment in Camp Kangleon in Palo, Leyte.

The new equipment from the national headquarters were blessed and turned over on Monday at the PRO-8 Grandstand, Camp Ruperto K. Kangleon in Palo, Leyte.

PRO-8  Director Police Brig. General Reynaldo Pawid said the newly acquired assets are expected to bolster the operational capabilities of PRO-8 in ensuring public safety and order in Eastern Visayas.

These also aim to enhance police presence and response in the region.

These were three light transport vehicles, four personnel carriers, a patrol jeep, 21 light motorcycles, and 150 Galil Ace basic assault riflrs.

PRO-8 has six provincial and five city offices in Eastern Visayas.
