CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police apprehended 19 wanted individuals in the Cordillera region from September 8 to 14.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested nine, followed by the Baguio City Police Office (CPO) with four, Abra PPO and Benguet PPO with two each, and Ifugao PPO and Mountain Province PPO with one each.
Two were most wanted persons on the provincial level and one on the regional level.
Increased police presence resulted in zero crime incidents in 63 municipalities and six police stations in Baguio City during the week.
No crimes were recorded in 26 municipalities in Abra, 11 in Benguet, eight each in Mountain Province and Ifugao, six in Apayao, and four in Kalinga.
In Baguio City, Police Stations 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 10 reported no crime incidents.
