MPD hunts down woman who stabbed man in Tondo


Members of the Manila Police District (MPD) are hunting down a woman who stabbed a man in Tondo, Manila. 

The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as Ericka Joy Valenzuela, a resident of San Sebastian Street, Tondo, Manila.

Initial investigation disclosed that the victim, identified as Marvin Roxas, had an argument with the suspect's brother on Thursday, September 12.

Police said Roxas and Valenzuela's brother then engaged in a fist fight.

Meanwhile, the suspect suddenly pulled out a bladed weapon and stabbed the victim. 

Police did not disclose the reason of their fight, and no one saw where the suspect went after stabbing the victim.

Her relatives said the suspect only committed the crime because she saw the victim hurting her brother.

The victim was rushed to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center and is still undergoing operation.

Police said they are still conducting a follow-up operations to arrest the suspect who will face charges of frustrated homicide.
