Police identified the suspect as Francis Serecon Molina, 45.

The operation was conducted by the Provincial Intelligence Unit-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cebu Police Provincial Office and Compostela Police Station.

Molina said he was asked by a person he met through Facebook to deliver the illegal drugs.

The suspect said his first delivery happened last July and was paid P5,000.

Molina added that the person who he refused to identify would call her over the phone when there is a delivery.

He said he was tempted to accept the offer to deliver the contraband as his income from being a habal-habal driver was not enough to provide for his family.

Police Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, chief of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas, commended the CPPO units for the successful operation.

“This is another milestone in our intelligence-driven, highly-analytical, community-based and human rights-adherent fight against illegal drugs.  Our goal is to stop, once and for all, the proliferation of illegal drugs in Central Visayas with the help of other stakeholders and most importantly, our supportive community members,” said Aberin.
