A former Miss Switzerland was killed by her husband, who strangled, dismembered, and then “pureed” her remains in a blender, according to Swiss officials.

Kristina Joksimovic, 38, was found dead in her home in February in Binningen, Switzerland, the New York Post reported.

Swiss officials said Kristina's husband, who was only referred to as “Thomas” in local media reports, was taken into custody.

The same report said that Thomas, 41, had appealed for his release, but it was rejected on Wednesday by the country’s federal court in Lausanne after he confessed to the killing.
