1st alarm raised in Marikina River due to 'Enteng'

The Marikina City local government on Monday, September 2, raised the first alarm at the Marikina River due to rising water level brought about by Tropical Storm Enteng.

According to Marikina City Rescue 161, the river's water level had already reached 15.5 meters as of 8:10 a.m. Once the water level reaches 16 meters, the 2nd alarm will be raised.

If the river’s water level reaches 18 meters, this will prompt the raising of the third and final alarm alert, and forced evacuations will be enforced in all the affected areas.
