Gelvin Hernandez, known for his breathtaking LED visual designs, recently pulled out all the stops for his daughter Summers’ first birthday celebration held at the Clubhouse in Greenmeadows Quezon City on Aug. 25. As the owner of Always in Motion Live, the leading provider of graphics and technical services for events, Gelvin had his expertise on full display.
The garden theme was a perfect match for Summers’ bright and bubbly personality. Jillian, Gelvin’s wife, shared their excitement about creating a truly magical experience. “We wanted to give Summers a party she would remember forever,” she said. She expressed her heartfelt thanks to the guests for making time to attend Summers’ party, sharing our love to them and now to their daughter too! I was in attendance as Summers’ ninang and to witness the visual spectacle first hand was an out-of-this-world experience.
Gelvin’s visual expertise transformed the clubhouse into a digital art museum. Everywhere you looked, there were visuals in motion!
He collaborated with world-renowned event designer Dave Sandoval to create stunning ceiling tapestries and floral aesthetics. Additionally, he even set up one of his booths to incorporate motion detection technology, allowing the LED wall to mimic the movements of guests.
“The moment Summers was born, I had already been planning and envisioning this event nonstop for her first birthday,” Gelvin recalled. Truly, the Hernandez family was able to create something immensely meaningful and special for their little girl.
One of the most impressive aspects of the event was the unique visuals created for each song number performed by their host, Lizzie the Classy MC. Gelvin’s team designed breathtaking backdrops, from a moving beach for Moana’s “How Far I’ll Go” to an enchanting blue castle for “For the First Time in Forever” from Frozen to an otherworldly underwater landscape for Little Mermaid’s “Part of Your World,” and more!
The party was a visual masterpiece, but it was the love and joy radiating from Summers and her parents that truly made the day special. Congratulations, Gelvin and Jillian, on throwing such an amazing celebration. What a privilege it is to be Summers’ godmother and share in this momentous milestone in her life!
