The Indian community in the Philippines gathered in an exclusive celebration of India’s 77th Independence Day at the "Annual Indian Independence Day Dinner," hosted by KMC Solutions, KMC Savills, Sprout Solutions, and T1 Project Services at Club United, Parañaque. This intimate and upscale event brought together a select group of Indian business leaders, including Shri Harsh Kumar Jain, the newly appointed Indian Ambassador to the Philippines, who has been in Manila for just two weeks.

Impact on the Indian Community in the Philippines

The event served as a pivotal moment for the Indian community in the Philippines, offering an exclusive platform to connect, celebrate their heritage, and engage with peers in a luxurious setting. Ambassador Shri Harsh Kumar Jain, in his address, shared how the Indian community continues to bridge cultural and economic ties between India and the Philippines. “Indian investments in the BPO sector in the Philippines is bringing tremendous benefits to both countries. There is a huge potential that India and the Philippines can emerge as exemplary partners, complementing each other in diverse sectors of economy”, stated Ambassador Jain. His early participation in such a prestigious event highlights the importance of the Indian community’s presence and influence in the country.
