Truck turns on its side after hitting a van in Quezon City

A truck loaded with sand turned on its side after hitting an L300 van along C-5 Eastwood, Quezon City on Wednesday morning, August 21.

Based on initial reports, fifteen passengers of the L300 were hurt and were brought to the nearest hospital for treatment.

First responders said the truck was on the southbound when it avoided a motorcycle that suddenly turned left. The truck then collided with the van which was on the northbound lane.

As of this writing, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) personnel are still clearing the road of the sand from the truck.

The accident caused heavy traffic in the area.
