The Earth+Lens photo exhibit has long served as an inspirational platform for putting spotlight on the captivating beauty of nature through the lenses of HUAWEI smartphones, captured by its partner photographers.

This annual event, a collaboration between Manila Bulletin, HUAWEI, and different other stakeholders, has been known for its captivating themes since its inception in 2018 along with the release of the HUAWEI P20 series. Each year, Earth+Lens offers a fresh perspective on the world, showcasing a diverse range of views on the beauty of the natural world. Last year, the exhibit highlighted the majestic beauty of Philippine forests, utilizing the HUAWEI P60 Pro's advanced camera capabilities to capture vivid images from great distances and in low light conditions.

Organizations, including the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Tourism (DOT), and SM Supermalls such as S Maison and SM Aura, have also largely contributed to this initiative.

But this year, photography enthusiasts and the public have much to look forward to, as Earth+Lens is set to expand and be magnified. With the continuous support of its long-time partners, and now with new ones to help push forward its cause, this year's exhibit promises to be bigger and more impactful. A more spacious venue is in line, allowing an extensive display of breathtaking photographs and the extended exhibit duration will give visitors more time to immerse themselves in the visual stories presented.

The photo display will be unveiled this August 20 at the Philippine National Museum of Natural History in Manila and will run until September 1. Visitors can bring friends and family as it will be open to the public. This year’s exhibit is supported by one of its long-time partners, the Department of Tourism (DOT), along with new collaborators, National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA), and the National Museum of the Philippines.

HUAWEI elevating nature photography with continuous innovation

The partnership with HUAWEI, a supporter of Earth+Lens for several years, continues this year, aiming for a more fruitful and meaningful impact. Through the lens and camera capabilities of its latest innovation, the HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra and Pura 70 Pro, everyone can anticipate more stunning photos of little and big moments in nature. Featuring the Ultra Speed Snapshot mode, this technology enables photographers to capture even the smallest and quickest moments with precision.

Since 2018, HUAWEI has supported this initiative by providing smartphones as tools to better appreciate the beauty of both small and grand details in nature. Their devices have introduced several innovations in imaging technology, including the True-Chroma Dual-Matrix Camera, the Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera, and Super Macro.

The cutting-edge devices incorporate sophisticated photographic capabilities that empower photographers to capture and freeze nature's beauty as never before.

HUAWEI's commitment to innovation and excellence in photography aligns perfectly with the mission to highlight the splendor and importance of the natural world.
