Report: K-pop artists Hyuna, Yong Jun-hyung to get married in October

K-pop artists Hyuna and Yong Jun-hyung, a former member of K-pop boy band Highlight (aka BEAST), are getting married in October.

Korean media outlet YTN reported on July 8 that Hyuna, 32, and Yong Jun-hyung, 34, will be tying the knot on Oct. 11 in Seoul.

Hyuna and Yong Jun-hyung revealed their relationship last January when they uploaded the same photo on their Instagram accounts showing them walking hand in hand.

“They have been friends for a long time and understand the hardships of life in the entertainment industry well, and their trust and faith are strong because they comfort and sympathize with each other,” an entertainment insider told YTN.

The source added, “They recently developed into lovers and decided to get married because they have confidence in love. They look forward to even more active activities after marriage as they share positive energy with each other.”

Hyuna and Yong Jun-hyung were previously under Cube Entertainment’s 4Minute and Beast. In 2010, Yong Jun-hyung aws featured in Hyuna’s solo song “Change.”

Hyuna made her comeback last May with the release of her album “Attitude.”

Yong Jun-hyung left Highlight in March 2019. He released his album “Beautiful Dystopia” in March.
