DOH-6 Regional Director Dr. Adriano Suba-an said the amount accounts for more than 99 percent of the region’s allocation.

“We will release the remaining allowance once the remaining funds are downloaded,” assured Suba-an.

Not all health workers received the same amount as it is based on their individual risk classification.

Genevieve Cadornigara of the DOH-6 Administrative Office noted that 19 health institutions in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental provinces as well as the highly urbanized cities of Iloilo and Bacolod received complete funding.

She added the amount covers workers for government and private hospitals as well as other health facilities.
