Casama, 23, landed a series of powerful punches which left the previously undefeated Kaneko wobbling and enough to signal the referee to stop the fight at the 2:05 mark of the first canto.

The emerging pug of President Roxas, North Cotabato captured his 10th victory, all via knockout, for a 10-2-1 record while the Japanese fighter recorded his first-ever loss in six bouts.

It was also a revenge of sorts for Casama as Kaneko sent Bohol’s Jhunrille Castino down to the canvas via a deadly body blow in the fourth round last March.

The fight actually started slow before Casama turned it up and dissected Kaneko's defense with his lethal combinations until the referee saw enough to halt the bout.
