Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya capped the dominant showing for the Filipinos with a signature backdoor play in Game 2 to pick up their second win in as many games and join Malaysian team Homebois as the early qualifiers to the knockout rounds.

The Filipino EXP laner on his Paquito pick took advantage of the huge team fight in the midlane at the 15-minute mark to go for a one-man push at the top lane to close out the series with a 19-6 count in Game 2.

The heads up play slammed the door on the comeback hopes of the European team which was starting to finally fight back after their goldlane carry on the Claude pick started to finally deal damage to Team ECHO.

Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno set the tone for the rout by dominating the jungle battle and securing all of the available Turtles and Lord in the early game. He finished with a spotless 1-0-11 KDA on the jungle Xborg.

Benedict “BennyQt” Gonzales provided the damage to scatter an 8-2-3 line on the gold lane Roger pick.

BennyQt carried the momentum over from Game 1 when he led a 20-6 assault for the Filipinos with a 7-1-9 line on the Natan pick. Sanford also starred with a 6-3-4 line on the Yu Zhong while Karltzy was solid at the frontline with a 0-0-14 KDA on the jungle Baxia pick.

Liquid ECHO, although already assured of a spot in the playoffs, guns for the top seed in its group when it takes on fellow undefeated Homebois later in the day
