President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will lead the distribution of agricultural lands to a total of 2,857 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Northern Mindanao on Friday, July 5.
In a statement, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) said a total of 3,009.5 hectares of agricultural lands will be distributed in Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Misamis Oriental provinces.
"This distribution aims to improve the livelihoods of thousands of ARBs by letting them manage their own land and engage in the agricultural sector," the statement read.
The President is also expected to offer P2.6 million in support services to seven agrarian reform cooperatives through the DAR's Climate Resilient Farm Productivity and Support Program (CRFPSP).
The support services demonstrate the government's commitment to promoting farmers and advancing sustainable agriculture practices in Mindanao.
