PFIP held its #Limitless media launch on June 27, 2024 at Shangri-La The Fort, BGC. The event highlighted mentorship, diversity training, and community-building initiatives to help businesses create a respectful workplace that encourages innovation, attracts top talent, and helps employees reach their full potential.

At the event, key speakers encouraged individuals to embrace their true selves and feel accepted, promoting workplaces that truly support LGBTQIA+ employees.

Here are three ways to improve your workplace culture:

1. Awareness and education

Corporate secretary Ronil Villacorta introduces PFIP, outlining its mission and vision, and explained how companies can become PFIP members.

During his talk, he emphasized that PFIP also encourages leaders in the workplace to practice compassionate leadership, teaching managers and executives to nurture empathy and understanding among colleagues and teams.

Through collaboration with member firms, PFIP has achieved significant milestones in advocating for Filipino LGBTQ+ professionals. This includes introducing policies and initiatives such as equal benefits for same-sex couples, comprehensive coverage for medical and non-medical transition procedures, sensitivity in dress codes and practices, inclusive facilities and language, as well as providing allyship training and mentorship programs for LGBTQ+ individuals. These efforts aim to create a more supportive and inclusive workplace environment.
