Real estate developer NextAsia Land Inc. unveiled its ambitious 2024 plans during a press conference at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, in May 2024. The company announced the simultaneous launch of three projects: Estonia in Calamba City, Laguna; Florence in Lipa City, Batangas; and Cyprus in Calauan, Laguna.
Boasting a combined investment of ₱8 billion, these developments span a total area of 35 hectares with over 3,500 units across, are all NXTGreen certified, representing a significant leap forward in sustainable urban living and setting a new benchmark for contemporary residential spaces.
“Through these projects, we are not only meeting the region’s housing needs but also contributing to the overall progress of the nation,” said NextAsia Land Inc. Chairman and CEO Crispin Y. Carreon. “It is both an honor and privilege to present NextAsia's value-driven and forward-thinking development dedicated to creating the communities of tomorrow, today. NextAsia Land is proud to announce the development of three exciting new residential communities in South Luzon valued at ₱8 billion.”
Panelists at the launch also included NextAsia Land Inc. COO Dustin Carreon, SB Capital Investment Corporation President Virgilio O. Chua, RCBC SME Banking Group Senior Vice President Anna Christina Vicente, and Leechiu Property Director of Research and Consultancy Roy Amado Golez, among others.
NextAsia Land's launch of new residential communities supports the Philippine President's goal to reduce the country's 6.5 million housing unit backlog by offering high-quality housing. The success of these projects relies on strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including SB Capital, RCBC, BPI, Union Bank, Pag-IBIG, China Bank, Leechiu Property Consultant, and Converge. Carreon expressed gratitude for their partners' expertise and resources, emphasizing confidence that these communities will exceed resident expectations.
Commitment to sustainability and future developments
Each project within this initiative features innovative amenities designed to enhance residents' quality of life. From high-speed broadband Internet access to solar-powered street lights and provisions for EV charging stations, these developments prioritize sustainability and technological advancement.
When asked about their targets for sustainability goals set by the United Nations (UN), Dustin Carreon shared, “Our current target is 14, covering areas like good health, education, etc. But specifically for construction or housing, it's four. Overall, we're already compliant with 14 out of 17 of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.”
Regarding the future plans of NextAsia Land, in addition to the five ongoing projects currently in development and the three recently announced developments, the company is planning another launch in the next six months, focusing on the South.
