Kick-off ceremony in celebration of Indonesia's 79 Years of Independence

Indonesian Network Diaspora (IDN) in Manila and nearby areas gathered in the early morning of July 27, 2024, to kick-off the celebration of Indonesia’s National Day.

The ceremony started with a 4-kilometer fun walk, from the Embassy on Salcedo Street, traversing through Ayala Avenue, going to Ayala Triangle, and back to starting line.

Both kids and adults participated in games such as the marble and spoon race, balloon race, insert a pencil in a bottle, gaple (Indonesian domino) and a lot more.

Held at the Indonesian Embassy in Makati City, the event was led by Indonesian Ambassador Agus Widjojo with Mme. Ranny Widjojo, and the Embassy home and local staff.

Indonesia will celebrate its 79th anniversary of independence onAugust 17, 2024.
