Construction worker caught in possession of P374,000 worth of shabu in Las Piñas

Members of the Las Piñas City Police Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU) arrested a construction worker for possession of P374,000 worth of shabu on Friday night, July 26.

Col. Sandro Tafalla, Las Piñas police chief, said the suspect was identified as alias Jomar, 33, a resident of Barangay Zapote Uno, Bacoor Cavite.

Tafalla said the suspect was accosted at around 11:55 p.m. by TMRU members who were conducting anti-criminality operation on Alido Bridge in front of DMCI Homes in Barangay Zapote, Las Piñas City.

The city police chief said Jomar was found in possession of 55 grams of shabu worth P374,000 placed in a blue yellow pouch.

The suspect was immediately detained at the police custodial facility after his arrest. He was charged with possession of illegal drugs.
