Rising star Joshua Kim makes waves with debut EP 'Alone In Melbourne'

Known for his soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Joshua has been making waves in indie venues across Manila, such as SaGuijo and Jess & Pats, captivating audiences with his raw talent and authentic storytelling. 

His journey as a musician took a significant leap forward with the launch of "Alone In Melbourne," a six-track EP entirely penned by Joshua himself. Inspired by his personal experiences during a solitary job assignment in Melbourne, the EP delves deep into themes of self-discovery, self-love, and the complexities of relationships.

Each track promises to take listeners on an emotional journey, resonating with those who appreciate music that speaks directly to the heart.

Joshua's recent performances have further solidified his rising status in the music scene. From a stellar showcase at ToyCon 2024 to a soulful set at Fète de la Musique's acoustic stage, and a memorable stint at the Hally Universe event held at the University of the Philippines, Joshua has been winning over audiences with his poignant lyrics and captivating voice. 

Most recently, he served as the support act for renowned acoustic artist Paolo Santos' concert at Wicked Dogs BGC, earning acclaim for his engaging stage presence and musical prowess.
Beyond his musical achievements, Joshua is also a distinguished academic achiever, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in
Computer Science. His disciplined approach to academics and music has undoubtedly shaped his unique perspective as an artist.

As Joshua continues to build momentum with "Alone In Melbourne" and his captivating live performances, he is poised to make a lasting impact on the local music landscape, promising listeners an authentic and introspective musical journey.
