OPM icon Ronnie Liang joined other Philippine Army reservists on a rescue operation in Quezon City due to the heavy rain caused by typhoon Carina.

Ronnie documented their rescue operation in Barangay Roxas, Quezon City through Instagram.

"Answering the call of duty as a reservist, the Philippine Army, together with 1302 Ready Reserve Battalion," Ronnie wrote in his caption.

Braving the heavy rain and flooding in the area, Ronnie displayed bravery and dedication to fulfilling his duty.

"Rescuing the typhoon #CarinaPH victims here at Barangay Roxas, Quezon City," he added. 

In addition to Ronnie, actor Gerald Anderson also assisted in rescuing a family stranded in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City, during Carina's wrath.

In the viral video uploaded online, Gerald can be seen carrying a child as he assists in the rescue operations.

According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Rachelle Joy Cabayao mentioned that she and her family waited for three hours when Gerald and the other rescuers arrived.
