Man dies after being electrocuted in Tondo floodwaters

A man was found dead and floating in the floodwaters of Tondo after allegedly being electrocuted on Wednesday afternoon, July 24.

The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the victim as David Gerona, 32, resident of Delpan Street, Tondo, Manila.

According to the police report, the body was found floating in floodwaters in front of Immaculada School along Tayuman Street, Barangay 232, Tondo, Manila.

Police said the dead victim was brought by his brother, Juni, to the Gat Andres Bonifacio Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

A netizen uploaded a video of the incident which became viral. He asked the public to avoid the area after a man allegedly died of electrocution.
