For Pampanga 2nd district Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the administration's stance on the issue of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) is now "very clear".

President Marcos' announcement of the POGO ban arguably garnered the loudest applause from his hour-and-a-half State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 22..

It even elicited a "BBM" chant from the solons in attendance.

Commenting on this SONA moment afterward, Arroyo said: "Oh yeah. As you can see, that was what every body was waiting for."

"Especially in my district, there's POGO in my district. Now, it's very clear," said the former president and House Speaker.

Arroyo was referring for alleged illegal POGO hub in Mexico, Pampanga.

POGOs went through a boom period during the previous Duterte administration. They have been recently linked to various criminal activities, including syndicated crimes.

And now, Marcos has had enough.
