'Baha!' Seven areas in Metro Manila flooded, MMDA says


At least seven areas in Metro Manila were flooded as a result of the heavy downpour since Monday, July 22, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

Based on the 12 noon monitoring of the MMDA on Tuesday, July 23, the northbound and southbound of Balintawak are already submerged in 8-inch flood water along with the northbound and southbound lanes of E Rodriguez near the Araneta Avenue, both in Quezon City.

The same 8-inch flood was also monitored near the Dario Bridge, also in Quezon City.

In Mandaluyong City, the southbound lane of Shaw Boulevard near EDSA was also flooded along with the southbound lane of Macarthur Calle Uno in Caloocan City.

The intersection of Andrews Tramo was also submerged in 8-inch deep flood water along with the eastbound and westbound lanes of España near M.Dela Fuente.
