'Malicious': Palace reacts to 'fake' drug video of Marcos

"Malicious."

This was how Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin reacted to the video supposedly showing President Marcos using illegal drugs which was circulating online on the day of his third State of the Nation Address (SONA).

"Koreano yun, hindi Filipino (It was a Korean, not Filipino)," Bersamin said in an ambush interview hours before the President's SONA begins on Monday afternoon, July 22.

He also said that perhaps the reason for releasing the video on the day of Marcos' SONA was to defame the President.

The Department of National Defense (DND) has earlier said the video was fake and it was a "maliciously crude attempt to destabilize the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr."
