Nadia Montenegro confirms 17-year-old daughter is Baron Geisler's

Nadia Montenegro has finally come out to confirm what many knew all along.

That actor Baron Geisler is the father of her 17-year-old daughter Sophia.

Talk about the same was revived recently with Baron coming out to admit that he has a child with another woman, something that veteran scribe Cristy Fermin has reported about as well years prior.

Baron didn't name names but the story gained traction after Nadia made huge noise questioning in an interview the motive behind the revelation.

She didn't confirm or deny the issue and like Baron she didn't mention any names.

It could've ended there, too.

But, no.

For one reason or another, Nadia appeared on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” Friday to further discuss the matter.

There, she maintained she is doing so mainly because her daughter Sophia is turning 18 next month and that she wants to “put an exclamation to everything.”

“Tito Boy, 17 years ago, may isiniwalat ang isang tao tungkol sa buhay ko na I don’t think naman anybody has the right kasi nung time na ‘yon, Tito Boy, inaayos ko lahat. Hindi manlang kinonsider 17 years ago kung ano ang pinagdadaanan ko, ng mga anak ko, kung anong puwedeng mawala sa akin,” she said.

According to Nadia, the same thing happened recently, with everybody “feasting on something I did 17 years ago.”

“That’s why sabi ko, Tito Boy, this is my mistake. Kung nagkamali man ako — I don’t even want to call it a mistake,” she said.

Nadia revealed Sophia has always known Baron was her real father, and that they have always been communicating.

“Pero Tito Boy, ‘wag nating kalimutan na bakit ba tumagal nang ganito?” Nadia said. “Tito Boy, unlimited chances for someone to change. Give me a reason na ipaharap kita sa kaniya nang sober ka.”

Seemingly referring to Baron, Nadia asked, “You came out in an interview all of a sudden without even asking us?”

Nadia said Sophia was bullied at school for it, with someone posting a photo of Baron in jail on the student council page, asking “Kaninong tatay ‘to?”

“Kailangan ko pa bang ikuwento kung anong pinagdaanan namin just to keep our peace? This is my life. This is my children’s lives. This is my story, Tito Boy. No one had the right to tell my story,” Nadia said.

“I want this to end because my daughter’s turning 18 soon, and she does not need to come out of this world and answer questions for her mother,” she said.

Nadia maintained her late partner, Boy Asistio, knew about it, but that he didn't want Sophia to know until he’s passed.
