Floating shabu continues to turn up in Ilocos Sur.

Eighty-seven packs worth P591 million have been recovered as of July 2.

Ilocos Sur Provincial Board Member Efren Rafanan said the provincial government has set July 5 as the deadline for fishermen to turn over recovered shabu and receive a P50,000 incentive.

In addition, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) will give P5,000 incentive per pack of shabu recovered.

The Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office (ISPPO) has created a Special Investigation Task Group to investigate these recoveries.

Police Col. Darnell Dulnuan, ISPPO police director, will lead the task force with the PDEA, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Maritime Police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Group, and Forensic Group as members.
