Over 400 residents of Las Piñas City enjoyed the dermatological services offered by the local government last June 28.

Las Piñas City Vice-Mayor April Aguilar said the derma care project was spearheaded by the City Health Office (CHO) in collaboration with Aivee Clinic.

Aguilar said the activity called “Beauty Beyond Borders" led by renowned dermatologist Dr. Aivee Aguilar-Teo provided dermatological services to the local community. It was held at Camella 6 covered court in Barangay Pulanglupa Dos.

She said TV personality Dominic Roque made a surprise appearance during the event, assisting CHO head Dr. Juliana Gonzalez and the team from Aivee Clininc in the conduct of services.

The vice-mayor said the event catered to over 400 city residents who availed of free consultations, minor surgeries, skin tag cautery, and cyst removal.

Aguilar said the participants also received necessary medications and health information, emphasizing the project's holistic approach to community health.

She said the "Beauty Beyond Borders" initiative continues to highlight the collaborative efforts between the Aivee Clinic and the city government.

The vice-mayor added the partnership not only addressed immediate health concerns but also raised awareness about the importance of skin health.

The mayor said the success of the event paved the way for future health outreach programs which showcase the impact of cooperation between medical professionals and local government in enhancing community health.
