Las Piñas VM Aguilar attends cooking, baking training for women

Las Piñas City Vice-Mayor April Aguilar attended the cooking and baking training of members of the Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI) held at the Las Piñas City Manpower Training Center in Barangay Talon Dos on July 10.

Aguilar said the training aims to enhance the culinary skills of local women, empowering them with the knowledge and techniques necessary for commercial cooking and baking.

The vice-mayor actively participated in the training, engaging with the participants and demonstrating her support for the program.

Aguilar said the session included hands-on activities where attendees learned to prepare various baked goods and dishes.

She said the event showcased the commitment of the city government to support community-based initiatives that foster skill development and economic opportunities for its residents.

The vice-mayor added that the training not only provided valuable learning experiences but also strengthened the camaraderie among the participants, promoting a supportive environment for continued growth and development.

Aguilar’s presence underscored the city's dedication to uplifting its citizens through practical and sustainable livelihood programs.
