In a 24-hour public weather forecast issued at 4 a.m., PAGASA said that areas such as Antique, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Zambales, and Bataan may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

The state weather bureau emphasized that this is due to the southwest monsoon and could lead to possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Mindanao, the rest of Visayas, and the rest of Mimaropa may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

This is also due to the southwest monsoon, which may cause possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Moreover, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

This weather condition could lead to possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms

Coastal water conditions

The western section of Luzon may experience moderate to rough coastal waters with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 meters (m), accompanied by moderate to strong winds.

Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao may also have moderate to rough coastal waters, with wave heights ranging from 1.2 to 2.8 m and moderate to strong wind speeds.

Furthermore, the rest of Luzon may have slight to moderate coastal waters with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 m and light to moderate wind speeds.
