In our generation, where technology is central to our everyday lives, it's easy for us to connect with each other. With just one click on our mobile phones, seamless communication enables personal or business transactions.

As they say, the new currency is the number of our social media followers. And yes, you can choose to be a producer or a consumer when using the internet. In this article, I will share some tips on how you can market your property using social media.

Choose only one to two social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc. It can be overwhelming, but choosing the right platform can be very effective in helping you sell your property faster.

First, you need to know your target market. Are you selling a high-end property or a property in a socialized housing? This is crucial to determine which social media platform to use.

For example, many realtors selling high-end properties use Instagram to market their listings. For low-cost housing, Facebook is very effective. If you are establishing your brand as a realtor on YouTube, lifestyle videos can help your market know you better beyond your work as a realtor. This way, you build a good connection with them.

Video is king
To get more engagement, we're past the days of just posting graphics with your photo and property details. Nowadays, video advertisements on social media are very effective in attracting more clients and connecting with them. Clients don't just want to see property details; they want to connect with you by hearing your voice and seeing your enthusiasm and emotions toward the property you're selling.

Do live sessions
Business is always about building relationships. If your audience or target market feels a connection with you beyond your business, it will be easier to gain their trust. Based on my experience, it is you who you're selling, not just the product or service you're offering.

I hope the above tips help other realtors, especially those new to the industry. It's very easy to market properties nowadays using technology. It's just a matter of how we utilize it to attract more clients.
