At Samsung's first Unpack event this year, they unveiled Galaxy AI, a suite of features that will change how you use your phone.  It includes powerful new photo editing tools and a unique way to search information. Today, Samsung brings those Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy Z series, including the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6.

“Samsung’s long history of innovation has allowed us to lead in the mobile space, creating the foldable form factor and ushering in the mobile AI era. Now, we are excited to bring these two complementary technologies together and unlock new possibilities for users around the world,” said TM Roh, President and head of mobile eXperience business at Samsung Electronics. “Our foldables meet the unique needs of every user and now enhanced by the power of Galaxy AI, Samsung is delivering an experience like never before.”

The Galaxy Z series boasts the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. But the real star of the show is Galaxy AI.  It is generating a lot of buzz, and it is exciting to see how Samsung will integrate AI features into these innovative foldable devices.

One of those AI features is Note Assist on Samsung Notes. It translates, summarizes, and formats meeting notes, along with a transcript feature for translating and summarizing voice recordings. PDFs can also be translated with ease.

Samsung Keyboard's Composer feature is a game-changer.  It helps you write emails and social media posts faster by suggesting text based on simple keywords for email.  For social media, Composer creates text based on your past writing style and frequently used phrases.  We are eager to test this out.

S Pen gets an AI upgrade as well with Sketch to image. This is where you sketch an image and the AI will make it pretty. As Samsung would describe it, "to create more sophisticated art pieces”  by generating image options.

To enhance productivity, the Galaxy Z series integrates seamlessly with Google's Gemini app.  It helps you plan and develop ideas, ask questions, and much more.

The Interpreter feature is a game-changer.  With translations displayed on both the main and cover screens, you can have smooth conversations with anyone, anywhere.

ProVisual Engine is an AI-powered photo editing tool, which maximizes the Fold6’s screen. Photo Assist enhances images with less human touches. Portrait Studio creates different portrait styles, including 3D cartoon or water color. Instant Slow-mo allows you to instantly slow a video by generating additional frames while maintaining a smooth viewing experience.  This can be pretty cool for creative video shoots.

Other features include Ray Tracing, so the things you see on screen will look vivid and life-like.

The Flip6 brings back the FlexWindow, the 3.4-inch outer screen. This one gets some interesting AI features like Suggested replies, which reads your messages and generates responses. Also, the FlexWindow now offers more Widgets.

Photo Ambient, another AI feature, can change wallpapers in real-time based on time and weather.

FlexCam adds versatility to the camera.  It finds the best framing for your shot. It adjusts to ensure you’re in the best frame.

Now on the other side of the Galaxy are the Buds3 series.  Galaxy Buds have been consistently impressive, and this new iteration is even more exciting.  Now powered by AI, the Buds3 let you control select smartphone apps with your voice.  But that's not all.  The built-in AI also fine-tunes your audio experience with Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC, ensuring you hear every detail of your music.  Plus, with Voice Detect and Siren Detect, it'll keep you aware of your surroundings, so you can stay safe while you vibe.
