One-day manhunt nets 11 wanted persons

BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested 11 wanted individuals  in a one-day manhunt in the Cordillera region on July 8.

POLICE arrested 11 wanted persons in a day-long operation in the Cordillera on July 8.

A 28-year-old man listed as the No. 10 most wanted person on the regional level for robbery with homicide in Northern Samar was caught in Benguet.

A 33-year-old male, No. 2 municipal MWP,  and a 35-year-old male, No.1 Municipal MWP, were nabbed by the Mountain Province Provincial Office.

In Abra, a 33-year-old male, the No. 1 municipal MWP, was arrested in Manabo, while two persons wanted for violation of Republic Act 9262 – Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 – were arrested in La Trinidad, Benguet and Tabuk City, Kalinga.

In Baguio City, two individuals listed as top most wanted persons and three other wanted personalities were apprehended.
