Drug suspect arrested in Pasay City

A man tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) was arrested by members of the Pasay City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during the conduct of a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, July 9.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as alias Boss, 50, was arrested at around 7:45 p.m. in Road 4, Pildera II, Barangay 193, Zone 20, Pasay City.

Pasay City police chief Col. Samuel Pabonita said SDEU operatives were able to confiscate from the suspect about 54.1 grams of shabu worth P367,800.

Pabonita said the confiscated drug was turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.

He said the suspect who was listed in the police gallery under the drug watch list was immediately detained at the police custodial facility and charged for illegal possession of drugs.
