Delivery rider yields P680,000 shabu in Taguig

A delivery rider was arrested by the police after yielding 100 grams of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 10. 

The suspect, alias Jr, 22, was tagged by the Taguig Police as a high value individual. He was arrested on Santos Street in Barangay New Lower Bicutan.

The Taguig Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the buy-bust operation which resulted in the confiscation of 11 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 100 grams and valued at P680,000 and a genuine P1,000 bill on top of P5,000 boodle money used as the buy-bust money. 

According to the police, the suspect will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
