The initiative aims to provide the residents with decent, safe, secure and dignified homes by allowing them to own the land where their houses are built.

(Today, we distributed the CELA (Certificate of Lot Award) to families living here in Malabon as part of our goal to provide better housing for Malabueños, marking the beginning of their rise. They no longer need to worry about their homes because the land where their houses were built will become theirs. This is the start of a better life, bringing peace to their minds and hearts about their future. Congratulations to you, our beloved Malabueños!),” Sandoval said

City Administrator and concurrent CHUDD head Dr. Alexander Rosete said that the city government will continue to provide better housing programs for the residents,

“The Malabon City LGU is committed to providing adequate and sustainable housing solutions to better the living conditions of families who are in need of better homes. Under Mayor Jeannie’s leadership, we ensure that quality and better housing programs will be implemented to reduce the number of informal settler families and provide them with houses where they will not need to worry about their safety and security, as well as their and their families' future,” he said.
