'Lovely Runner' star Byeon Woo-seok's Manila fan meeting sold out

The Manila fan meeting of Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok, whose popularity surged through the drama “Lovely Runner,” got sold out.

Byeon Woo-seok will hold his “Asia Fanmeeting Tour: Summer Letter in Manila” on June 22 at the New Frontier Theater.

“We are officially sold out,” announced promoter Pulp Live World on June 7. The ticket selling for Byeon Woo-seok’s Manila fan meeting started on June 2.

Fans requested to hold the fan meeting for two days but Pulp Live World said it was not possible due to the actor’s schedule.

“Unfortunately, as hard as we tried, there will be no second day as his schedule is all fully booked for now and we can't find any other date,” Pulp Live World explained.

It added, “Thank you for your strong love and interest for Byeon Woo Seok, let's just show him how much he's loved here in Manila when he comes, maybe that will make him want to come back again #BYEONWOOSEOKinMANILA.”

Byeon Woo-seok became very popular through “Lovely Runner,” which also starred actress Kim Hye-yoon. The drama aired on Korean cable channel tvN from April to May.

At Incheon International Airport on June 6, Byeon Woo-seok was mobbed by fans and the media before he boarded his flight to Taipei, Taiwan for a fan meeting.

A throng of fans welcomed him when he arrived at Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan.
