Experience Airbnb's real-life 'X-Men '97' mansion

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is no longer just in comics or on TV; now, you can experience it in real life

With the recent conclusion of Disney’s "X-Men ‘97," everyone is eager to know what’s next for the team. While waiting for season 2, die-hard fans can now rent and explore the Professor’s mansion.

Located in Westchester County, New York, the mansion is exactly what you would expect from Xavier’s Institute for Higher Learning – straight out of the comic book. The "X-Men '97" mansion is part of Airbnb's new Icons line, featuring unique experiences inspired by movies, TV, music, and art, including the "Up" balloon house, Riley's Headquarters from "Inside Out 2," and Prince's "Purple Rain" home.

The Ready room

“Calling all mutants! Or anyone who feels just a little bit different. Now’s your shot to find out how super special you are at Xavier’s Institute for Higher Learning. We’re totally ready to welcome mutant trainees like you to our newest class. Anyway, get ready for the coolest orientation ever,” according to a statement on the Airbnb website.

For $97 per guest, up to eight can stay in the mansion, which includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms. A life-sized 30-ft Sentinel head can be seen just in front of the mansion. The interior design features a 2D painting style, with sketch lines, making it feel like you are inside a comic book panel.

Jubilee's room

For sleeping options, guests can choose between Jubilee’s bright and purple room, filled with her belongings such as music posters, star decals, a TV with a VHS player, and an arcade machine, or Wolverine’s room, filled with his memorabilia and claw scratches. Guests can also visit the War Room to try out the Professor’s telepathic device, Cerebro. But that’s not all – the Danger Room and Beast’s laboratory are also accessible for fans to explore and enjoy.
