The native of Baguio City also achieved the Minimum Qualification Standard (MQS) despite not reaching the final round of the Para Archery Olympic Qualifiers in Bangkok, Thailand last year.

Last year, Bantiloc, along Marzel Burgos, led the Philippines to its first podium finish in the said event where they outlasted South Koreans Jin Young Jeong and Hwang Sung Ki, 143-139,  to take the bronze in the  Compound Open Mixed category.

Bantiloc will join taekwondo jin Allain Ganapin (men’s 80kg) and swimmers Angel Otom (women's 200m freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50m butterfly) and Ernie Gawilan (men's 400m freestyle, 200m individual medley) in the Paralympics slated Aug. 28 until Sept. 8.
