The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) announced the composition of the squads, with new University of the Philippines recruit Noy Remogat, Perpetual’s Patrick Sleat and JM Tulabut, Ateneo’s Jynno Angelo Ladimo, Letran’s Jun Roque and San Beda’s Zedjay Etulle representing the men's roster, while Karl Ann Pingol, Kristine Cayabyab, Angelica Marie Surada, Cheska Apag, Elaine Atang and Camille Clarin consisting the women's side.

The Filipinos will enter the tournament as the lowest seeds in their respective categories where they lock horns with elite players in the weeklong tournament.

The global tourney, which started in 2017, gathered 73 teams in each gender which came from 47 national federations across five continents.

It aims to promote 3x3 basketball and nurture its players for further development of the sport.
