Looking to duplicate its winning performance last year, Forest Hills Golf and Country Club moved on the right track, winning at home via countback over Camp John Hay Golf Club to kick off the 2024 Goodwill Cup.

Forest Hills and Camp John Hay matched with 55 points at the difficult par-71 Nicklaus course. To break the deadlock, the organizers decided to take out the best and last scorer from the 20-player roster of each club then picked random five scores through a draw from the remaining 18.
